"There was a lot of good information from the ASPCA webinars, that I would like to reference if I ever needed too. You were also correct when you mentioned that I would love the “History of Animal Welfare” class by Dr. Zawistowski. I am a big history buff. But I do have to say that the “Compassion Fatigue and Resilience for the Animal Care Community” session was great as well. Having the ability to cope is extremely important and that session provided some great tools and resources for all of us to put in our tool boxes."

“It was truly an honor and privilege to be able to take part in this pilot. I can’t wait to see how it grows. The ability to have one place in our state that can define and share the standards of care and help spread that knowledge with authority is amazing. The more we are all able to share the same basic knowledge about the animals we care for, the easier it is for us to connect and communicate to improve animals lives.”

“The NCAF Animal Welfare Professional Certificate Level 1 course was a wonderful learning experience. The courses were well balanced and provided knowledge on a wide range of topics. The certificate program itself was easy to participate in with little to no barriers, making it inclusive to a variety of participants. Overall, this was a well thought out and highly manageable course load with a wealth of pertinent information. I can’t wait for Level 2!”
